J & J*

South Asia

*Due to the high risk area that J & J serve in, we have concealed their names.

J and J have served in South Asia since being sent out by Cross Church in April of 2022. J and J started attending Cross Church in college and met while serving in Cross Churches college ministry with a strong desire to reach international students with the Gospel. They also both graduated from Cross Churches School of Ministry. Through praying for places where Jesus is not yet known, they responded to the call and command of Matthew 28 on their lives and began serving cross culturally in South Asia.

South Asia is home to the largest concentration of lostness in the world. Our goal is to raise up strong disciples and leaders from Muslim backgrounds, and plant reproducing churches that share the good news with their own people. The people group we focus on consists of more than 25 million people; there are very few believers and no existing church among them.

Prayer Requests

  • Many would turn and believe in Jesus as the only way for salvation.
  • God would raise up strong disciples from this unreached and unengaged people group to start healthy reproducing churches.
  • The ability to learn and communicate the gospel clearly in the local language.
  • Open doors for long-term residency despite governmental opposition to the gospel.
  • We would abide in Christ amidst the lostness that surrounds.
