S & J were members of Cross Church that have lived in Central Asia with the International Mission Board since being sent out by Cross Church in 2013. They are there with their 2 children who were both born in Central Asia.
All of the Persian and Turkic peoples who call Central Asia home are unreached. Most Central Asians have no knowledge of biblical Christianity and are unaware that the gospel is good news. S and J live in a culture that is 99% Muslim with less than 20 known believers in their city of over 160,000 people. Although the Central Asian people are some of the most hospitable and caring people, it is still a very dark place in need of the light of Jesus.
